Pratishtha, through her performance at various Prestigious dance festivals through out the world has carved special place for herself among the upcoming performers of kathak danceApart from dancing, Pratishtha is a 'Prabhakar' with 1st division in Tabla and an 'A' grade Theatre artist. She has done key roles in famous plays, 'Sabse Udas Kavita', 'Chief Minister', 'Adhe adhure', 'Sunehere sapney', 'Ashad Ka Ek Din' and 'Maha Nirvan' and has been associated with theatre groups as 'Adacar Group' and 'IPTA'.

 

Urmila Sathyanarayan

Bharatnatyam and Classical

Urmila Sathyanarayanan is perhaps the brightest among the new the new generation of Bharatnatyam dancers. She is among the most inspired and dedicated Bharatnatyam exponents of her times with dancing experience of over three decades. She has trained under the guidance of eminent gurus 'Padmashri' K.N. Dandayauthapani Pillai, Kalaimamani Smt. K.J. Sarasa and Padmabhushan Smt. Kalanidhi Narayanan. Since her debut in 1976, Urmila has presented dozens of recitals in India and abroad and earned excellent reviews from eminent critics. She has danced in practically every dance festival in India. She has toured Europe and Usa extensively and participated in the 'Festival of India' at Edinburgh.

 

Rohit Barker

He has doing DJ'ing for just over 2 years. After standing behind a DJ console with DJ Ivan for over a decade and hosting a Radio show with him for about the same amount of time, he pretty much knew what went where and how. He also has been doing Radio for close to thirteen years now. Went on to Channel V for a while as a VJ. Moved to Radio Indigo which was his first professional foray into Radio. Shifted gears to Radio City for a couple of years and then left for Dubai FM

In a country where House Music was virtually non-existence, Pearl insisted on playing her sound and helped establish this style of music in a nascent scene which has now developed into a thriving one across the country. Having grown up surrounded by music and around vinyl collecting parents who themselves were a part of Goa music scene in the 70's, it is'nt hard to see why music had such a major influence on her. Having realised early that music was her life's answer, she has since pioneered the cause of ELectronic dance music across Indian Sub Continent. This commitment to E.D.M led her to be one of the Co-founders of 'Submerge', India's premiere Music Party.

Comedy Mimicry and Acting

A popular Indian Comedian and Actor and the 2005 winner of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge on Star One. Lately he has been seen acting in many Bollywood flicks doing minor comic roles. Sunil Pal contested in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, and won the competition. He was the favourite of viewers, who were enthralled by his remarkable ability of impersonating many film actors with commanding progress. So far he has worked in 7 films. His first major Hindi film, Bombay to Goa released in 2007, although he has played small bit roles in Hum Tum and Phir Hera Pheri. Recently entered Guinness for directing and producing a flick featuring 51 Stand-up Comedians.

 

Ehsaan Qureshi

Comedy Mimicry and Acting

A Stand-up Comedian he is the 2005 runner-up of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge on Star One. Has been a stage performer for the last 20 years. Most of his jokes focus on political satire and social issues. Lately he has been seen acting in a Bollywood movie - Bombay to Goa released in 2007 and also in a Bhojpuri film Hanuman Bhakt Hawaldar which was released in 2007. Also participated in Big Boss Season 2.

 

Zafar Karachiwala

Zafar Karachiwala, an alumnus of the Saint Edmond Champion High School and H.R. College of Commerce and Economics is amongst the recognized crop of young actors working on the Indian English stage. He has acted in quite a few plays such as GOING SOLO 2, ART, HAMLET, THE MAN OF LA MANCHA and in the more recent BEYOND THERAPY and SAMMY. Zafar also performed in ACID, a play that was part of a festival of original Indian English plays organized by the Royal Court Theatre in London and by Rahul Da Cunha's theatre group, 'Rage'. Fairly experienced in other media too such as television and film.
